About this listing

When we began this journey in 2022, our home was a  ruin, divided into two separate parts. The old barn serves as the living room, the old house are the bedrooms and the connection between the two is the kitchen. The transformation into the welcoming space it is today took place over 2022 and 2023. The whole house has been reconstructed, blending the old with the new to create a space where we feel right at home. As you enjoy your stay, please treat our property and neighbors with the same care and respect you would your own. There is a street with minimal traffic (usually 1-2 cars per hour) next to the house. 

The house features a spacious living room, a fully equipped kitchen, one full bathroom, one half bathroom, and two bedrooms. It’s fitted with high-quality appliances throughout. The couch in the living room is convertible so you can use it to sleep. Outside, you’ll find a barbecue area, two terraces, private parking, and a 600m² garden. Towels and bed linens are provided for your convenience.

Pico de Mafra, situated above Mosteiros, offers stunning ocean views and looks up the Sete Cidades. The beach and ocean are just a 5-minute drive away or a 20-minute walk. Mosteiros boasts restaurants, a beautiful beach, and hosts a variety of local events throughout the year.
